Some recent study came to the conclusion that the average working person feels happiest around payday - wow, must have been rocket scientists to work that one out..

They also concluded that the level of "general happiness" within the working population declines day by day after that, only to reach a high again on the next payday - the things people research. I sometimes wonder who pays for studies like that...

Well, according to this, I have to be very happy today - end of the month, and the fruits of my nightly work have arrived on my bank account - thing is, I never feel really unhappy anyway - money or no money, and I had plenty of no-money in the past... And I don't really feel any more happy today - its just another day, and although having some dosh in the bank is nice, it still isn't everything - there are so many more things that make me smile more than payday.

"Recent Studies" - totally overrated...
