Someone else has been diagnosed with Hodgkins, older than my daughter, just as angry, just as lost and the Island being so small, they found us. We are thinking of starting a support group, not that we know anything but just to be there if and when. I'm looking at doing a website of just a few pages giving links and contacts and whats where sort of stuff. Perhaps it might help.

I went to Belfast last week, to a village outside and was horrified to discover that the building surrounded by wire and screens and cctv was not the local prison, but a police station. If you think of Northern Ireland as a face, then that surely must be weeping sores. My Irish friend says that unless you're Irish you cannot hope to understand the situation. He must be right. Still cant quite get over that.
