beejay103
Was watching this at work Was brilliant to watch, his team did a great job of ushering him to the front just at the right time, and how about the poor man who was miles ahead only to get caught by the pack right at the end then just give up? haha Magnificent achievement
TheJudge
I watched it live on Eurosport. With a couple of hundred metres to go, it looked as if it wasn't going to happen, but then Cav's power took over. Awesome performance and a fantastic achievement. Miss Take
I watched it live on Eurosport. With a couple of hundred metres to go, it looked as if it wasn't going to happen, but then Cav's power took over. Awesome performance and a fantastic achievement. He said in an interview the other day that if he was in the right place with a couple of hundred metres to go then he would win every single time. triskelion
Well done to him, first Manxman ever to win a stage? I'm uncomfortable with his appropriation by the British media.

Mr. Sausages
Arguably the greatest sporting achievement of any Manx person. The sponsors will be queueing up for the rest of his career on the back of this.

sausage
Just watched the coverage too....fantastic ! Heard some shite on the radio today. People focussing on the fact that some idiots in the media decided to call him British or English and one bloke even suggesting it took the shine off his victory in some way. What a load of bollocks.....We know he is a manxie, Mark is certainly proud to be a manxie, you couldnt meet a nicer, more modest guy and he has just achieved an absolutely outstanding feat so nothing else matters. Congratulations Cav.....bloody brilliant

The English always call the Scots, NI, Welsh and Manx 'British' when one of them wins something. English if it's an Englander.
