x-in-man Posted August 29, 2009 Share Posted August 29, 2009 a PC tower I had intended to use in the shack, but a change of plan means the following is up for grabs.. Tower PC, Windows XP (service Pack 3) 2.4Ghz, 512 DDR Ram 60GB HDD, DVD + CD Re-write drive. Office 03 installed. Ethernet (for your router) and and old school dial up modem (for you Luddites) 15" Flat screen monitor, Keyboard, Mouse and thumb tracker (which looks like it was used in a mechanics garage but will clean up OK) speakers, leads and the odd book/sheet of words and restore CDs. The only down side is, after I fitted a new PSU and BIOS Battery, you have to switch it off at the wall when its shut down, or you cannot restart it, so in effect, the wall switch acts as its on/off switch. I suppose you could call it a 'green PC' as you never forget and leave it on Standby! All over good condition, with a two tone grey/silver look. Fast enough on 'tinternet', fast enough for anything I ever wanted to use it for. First to PM with 100 notes in their hand can come and get it, and I will put the kettle on - before it goes onto the works Ethernet. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
