Great Afternoon

I recently spent a lunch hour at Port Soderick that was both delightful and very sad.

It was delightful because the sun was shining, the river was in full flow from the recent heavy rain. The glen, despite being a bit muddy underfoot, was genuinely beautiful and, with the birdsong and the rushing sound of the river, it was gloriously peaceful.

The sad part was the seafront. It seems to have been left to go to ruin. I guess nobody knows quite what to do with it.
