  1. I did have a chuckle at one point last night when Daphne put them all right, including the questioner, concerning the Arup Report. You'd have thought that given the seriousness of the last flooding episode that all of the candidates would have been prepared for the questions on that subject. But it was doubly funny that the questioner hadn't read the report either. It was a typical Manx 'hustings' night.
  2. If..... the volume is there, and If..... Crogga (or whoever) can get into full field production sooner rather than later then I hope to God that IOMG will ensure that the Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) is negotiated by a competent legal and commercial team, ie not Manx CS!
  3. Depends where in the country the HA is based and what type of properties they have in their portfolio.
  4. Nobles is still importing bottled oxygen. The plant, apparently, supplies the hospital only.
  5. Why would he need to visit Mr Speaker, Lyndsay Hoyle? What possible parliamentary reason?

  7. He's only there for the photos/selfies.... so that he can stick a few photo frames up around Casa Quayle holiday cottages, so all who enter those hallowed portals are in doubt about how important he was. Otherwise.... why do it?
  8. It's viable but by the time they've got it into production there'll be no market for it.
  9. The difference in delivery between the CD representatives of what needed to be said to the Committee was marked.

  11. That's not the first time, according the Times it also happened during the first SARS outbreak in 2003. Over the last couple of weekends or so The Sunday Times ran stories about how WHO was subject to intense lobbying in 2017 by China, in particular how they literally sponsored (bought) and plotted to take control of WHO via their man, Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. The man is easily influenced according to the Times (I'd say bent). All of this latest cozying up to WHO was in direct response to China's failure to come clean in 2003 and admit that the virus had somehow found it's way out into the public domain from a science setting.
  12. Ignorance of the law is no excuse.
  13. At what point does this re-occurrence carry a custodial sentence..... if for no other reason than keeping the twat off the road?
  14. Mr Headcase might have better luck with Sharia Law.
  15. And, of course, it's not necessarily what you know but who you know when it comes to promotion.
  16. But they're not unmarked, anything but.
