South - doesn't IOMG still own some buildings down at the Freeport? Last I looked there's still loads of space up for rent, fully carpeted (complete with skirting boards), toilets, car park etc, etc.
That requires effort. And I'm not sure they'd done it at all first time around until someone kicked their arse. They're very keen on turning people around who arrive five minutes before closing time.
Disagree. We know who the most vulnerable and those supporting them are and that's being dealt with. You don't close schools when there's a flu outbreak or indeed when there's scarlet fever around.
We just need to push ahead with the 1st lot of vaccinations and quickly.
100%. I have family members who had tests on Sunday evening and said that although the test itself was a bit like having your brain tickled (not the first time I've heard that expression from others), everything else was well oiled.
It's only when it gets higher up the chain of command does the process of dissecting the data start getting suspect.
Thanks JW. I asked a question way back on whether we were/are getting our proper share and what protocols are in place to ensure we do get what we were promised. I had hoped that a journo reading these pages might have picked up on it but clearly not.
I've always said that 85k first doses are a spit in the ocean for the manufacturers, so can't understand why we haven't had more than the 0.013 or whatever it is. Protecting an entire community makes sense from a health service point of view because they will lack the infrastructure and resources needed to cope with mass hospitalisations. Even the Shetlands & Outer/Inner Hebridies could be done all in one go.

There's a brilliant video of HRH The CM, The MBE and Lady Henrietta doing the rounds on WhatsApp, singing to the tune of 'I Will Survive'. Bloody hilarious it is. (the file size is 2.1MB unfortunately)
