I would seriously question the costs on transport and positioning of these turbines, if they are ever made known. Discharging on a beach and the subsequent transport ops to site are not for the faint hearted, financially or operationally.

Similar here. Wanted to dispose of some contents (mostly old crockery & small household bits) in the recycling/reuse shed and was told it was commercial. When asked why, the ol' fella said it was because I rocked up in a pickup. The fella was abrupt & obnoxious, totally full of his own importance; a jobsworth type. Ended up going to the Northern site the next weekend who actually helped me unload and couldn't have been more helpful.

Anyone who thinks AI will replace Cyril's Servants is deluded.

I received an answer within 48 hours. And you're correct Woolley, UK HMRC in particular are dreadful. We have an ongoing MTD admin issue with HMRC/VAT and have been told we will get a answer.... but not before they've dealt with their backlog for March and April 2023!

I would have hoped that Keith would have recouped the cost of design and online production (which I think he does himself) and print (if any were printed) via the advertisements (which won't have come cheap) without any subsidy or fee from IOMG us. But somehow I doubt it.

I've lost count of the number of these publications that have been rolled out over the years. Same format every time. Nothing wrong with it but it does, as you say, have a limited readership. ETA: As long as it doesn't cost the taxpayer anything.

These people have read all the reports about how is easy it is to get money out of the taxpayers of IOM and thought they would chance their arm.... or, it could be a mate of a mate in IOMG looking for a.... well, you work it out.
