  1. I hope the government turn their request for three million down but they won’t because they will be reluctant to offend the trustees of the MNH who don’t seem to be doing a great job with the sites that they manage at the minute. Who are the trustees that actually runs the MNH ? Are the volunteers? Perhaps it is time for a bit of a shake up and people with some financial acumen were put in charge. On a bigger stage hopefully this will happen at the next general election there is a need for some drastic changes in the public’s thinking regarding the reason they give a candidate a vote and we need more experienced, knowledgeable people standing as candidates. The choices in some constituencies were dire last time best of bunch is not good enough.
  2. We as a family visited the Wild Life Park in the spring it was the first week it opened full time and had a great afternoon there. The six year old had a paper with a list of all the animals on it and she ticked every one except the wallabies there was lots to see and we had a cracking time ending up in the cafe which was very reasonable and the service was good. We thought it was a bargain. There are quite a few nocturnal creatures and some animals do tend to hide but we saw them all the parrots and other birds were great one is a talker and great fun.
  3. This case has now been brought to court and it is alleged that the sex doll that was found was in the form of a child which in my view changes how the scenario must be viewed. Info. Isle of Man Today.
  4. Reported on 9.00am news on MR. Apparently the private jet that was or was not carrying the Wagner fella was registered in the Isle of Man. How they came about that little nugget I do not know.
  5. The total ignorance on all things climate change related will not stop these zealots from ploughing on regardless of course it is not their money they are spending and it won’t be their mess to clear up as I suspect from public feeling this will be the last term in office many of them will be enjoying.
  6. It was also mentioned that there are still a fair number of visiting motorcyclists over and perhaps it would have been sensible not to close the mountain road on Tuesday and Wednesday to remove the race furniture but to leave it for a few days for the visitors to enjoy a trip around the course. Non cooperation from various departments would suggest some people are not fans of the Manx Grand Prix.
