lisner Posted February 2, 2006 Share Posted February 2, 2006 I have noticed that some of our grey men in grey suits are suddenly realising that unless they wake up and do something to remind the electorate they are actually there, they are going to get voted out. A halt to their gravy train by getting their backsides kicked out of their sleepy Tynwald haunt. 'Captain' Douglas is the latest to find a worthy cause to put hs name to: Hospice - Manx Radio report And Adrian Earnshaw managed the front page of the Independent with the breast cancer charity and now smoking: Smoking - Manx Radio report You will notice that Adrian has very cleverly hedged his bets on this one and is hoping to gain the support from reekers and non-reekers alike Although very worthy items, they are not 'News' as such. They are only 'News' because the head scratching efforts of these MHKs have somehow managed to make them 'News'. Well done for making it on Manx Radio anyway, lads.
