Lonan3, I agree 100% with you.

While I am here someone clever can sort this out for me.

Shouldnt the word for people who dont like homosexuals be Homoist?

I cant understand the word homophobic as phobic means fear doesnt it?

Is it safe to have broadcasting time dedicated to gay people?

Can't you catch homosexuality over the soundwaves?

I had an ear infection recently, the doctor said that it was because I had been listening to too many arseholes!

Sorry, but pasting a link from a website of an organisation with about 1000 members who's primary goal is to make reparative therapies available to homosexual men and women who want to try to change their "sexual adaptation". (Source: Wiki) doesn't strike me as particularly unbiased 'evidence'.

Show me something from an independant, credible source.

I've never claimed there's a hypothetical gay gene. That's clearly a ridiculous assertion. I'm simply stating that gay people are just born that way. We don't understand a 10th of a human brain or how it works, and we're no closer to discovering why we have personalities that differ despite being made up of the same genetic material than we were before the discovery of DNA. There's no gene for musical ability, no gene for manic depression and no gene for being a bigot.

It's those differences between each of us that makes us who were are. This is just one of them.

Saying that homosexuality is a choice is as bad as "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme"'s Lynda La Hughes deciding that homosexuals were just lazy!

I repeat - Whilst 'choice' may possibly be too decisive a word, the suggestion that it is most often 'socialised,' particularly during the confusing time of puberty, appears to have a great deal more credence than the research which suggested a genetic inheritance.
