How much did that cost the rayepayers? How much quantifiable value did attending the event can ratepayers expect to receive? It just seems like jollies all round at the ratepayers expense....and just after having put the rates up too on the premise that money is needed for services..... they're having a laff....and at the ratepayers expense... manxchatterbox Posted March 4, 2006 Author Share Posted March 4, 2006 apparently there are some more off Island jollies in the offing for Corpy staff and Cllrs....its a non stop gravy train for trips.... and the fact that officers also go increases the cost 'cos of the nominal value of lost work whilst they are away from the office...
