Juan Kerr
My nomination for slowing down speeding drivers is embeddded nails in the middle of the road and copious amounts of vaseline left on the tarmac leading into corners. Yes that should do it ! Just out of curiosity ... is it just me but does anyone else take notice of those electronic SLOW DOWN signs which are scattered here and there on the Island ? They always make me check my speed if Ive crept up over the limit. Maybe my time in the RN has left me too well disciplined ? To be fair I actually think those signs are good and work in calming speed. When you can see it flashing in front of you that your over the limit instinct is to put on the brake. I would say they are more effective than most measures.
