manxchatterbox Posted March 15, 2006 Share Posted March 15, 2006 the Dept of Transport is preparing the planning application for the refurbishment of the North Quay, Douglas between Parade Street and Quine's Corner for an "entertainment zone". Sounds good eh...too good to be true if you are a business or resident near there that needs parking 'cos the 64 parking spaces will be removed. where do you think those 64 cars are going to park? does anyone know what sort of entertainment its being planned for? By getting rid of all the venues that play live music along the Quay I don't think I'm going to be finding it very entertaining. To be honest who really cares about some parking spaces?
