These were as follows:

(a) Mr. Hankin referred to her breasts in her presence and the
presence of others as "Top Bollocks" which it was explained,
was an army expression meaning breasts ("the Top Bollocks
claim
").
(b) the other coach drivers noting that she did not have a boyfriend
made crude enquiries of her as to what sex toys she used ("the
Sex Toys claim
").
(c) Mr. Hankin made the following remark to the Applicant:
"I'd do you, I'd f**' a frog if I could stop it hopping" ("the
Frog Claim
")
(d) A Mr. David O'Dell ("Mr O'Dell") another coach driver made
comments about how she should be a housewife and that was
all women were good for ("the O'Dell Comment")
(v) Mr. Hurd forcefully tickled her ribs causing her pain and to drop to the
floor - without her consent to touch her in anyway ("the Rib Tickling
claim
"). At the time she dropped to the floor, the Applicant averred

that her bottom had been slapped ("the Bottom Slapping"). She did
not detail anything further including who did ~.

Is this an extract from the film "Carry on Employment Tribunal" ?

Manx Radio are incredible. Look at this headline

Quote

Hundreds of Manx residents use Graih's homeless shelter

but read the article and discover actually, it's 59.

I'll post the whole article because it'll probably get changed. It is very poor.

Charity reveals extent of homelessness on the Island

More than 500 people have used a night time homeless shelter, piloted by a Manx charity over the last 12 months.

Graih's trial scheme aimed to uncover the extent of homelessness on the Isle of Man - it came to a close at the end of last month.

The facility was opened by volunteers all night every night, from January 2019 for a year - offering emergency shelter to anyone who needed it over the age of 18.

Over the last 12 months 534 bed spaces were taken up, to 59 different people.

The youngest was 18-years-old, spanning to the oldest guest who was 88.

Other findings from the charity show that more than three-quarters were male, and the majority were Manx residents.

Graih is now seeking funding of £250,000 per year, "to cover both the shelter and [its] existing day-time work."

So,

534 bed spaces (aka nights) for £250k - that's £468 / person / night.

They could have put them all up at the Empress for £95 a night.

Think I'd move over and become homeless :) .

I agree there should be an emergency shelter, but what about folks in Ramsey or Castletown?

The 250K is to cover ALL their costs, not just providing the bed. They do a lot more besides.

Agreed,

But £468 / person? Surely they're factoring in some excellent salaries as well?

Some, if not most, are unpaid I think.
