Nothing to do with manx radio though. Always wearing a pink tie and that ridiculous "Team NHS" buttonhole like he didn''t vote against NHS staff getting a 1% payrise.... A man who, like many others in Bozo's Administration, had a key role in dealing with the pandemic and who failed utterly to make the scratch and knows it... Nothing to do with manx radio though. gettafa
Howard Quayle on the radio just now. Question from Mr Wint to Mr Quayle: "You must be very proud of where we are now"
Andy Onchan
It would be interesting to know what the MR listener numbers are for those living outside Mann. We have two Manx expat families in England who say they now listen a lot less to MR in the mornings because of the changes.

There should be a decent potential online audience worldwide when you consider the scale of the Manx diaspora. Maybe they're the ones that are listening.

There might have been more if they hadn't changed the programming!

Sure there's the Prom but that's such a plodder it may have legs but they're very very slow ones.... No venal fingers in the till, drug habits, sleazy affairs, gambling problems or anything. Poor show...

Manximus Aururaneus
Given the listening numbers it would be cheaper to provide a freephone number for pre-recorded news (none really if we're honest) and weather (changeable as usual) and recommend the BBC for music. Give the savings to the kids ward at the hospital or whatever. Edited June 3, 2020 by Manximus Aururaneus 2
gettafa
The Isle of Man Government give Manx Radio £20,000 a week for public broadcaster services. £20,000 a week. FM (fuck me)
