New owners of the Castle Mona revealed Yet fail to mention it was not their story! Seems to be poor journalism if that’s what happened Tell me WKRP, how do YOU think the worldwide media works? Hacks in brown overcoats and trilby hats hanging around disreputable bars and street corners sniffing out the next scoop. Digging through wheelie bins for incriminating brown envelopes? Ringing their Editor from a phonebox saying 'hold the front page, Mrs Quirk's cat has finally come home'? Kudos to the papers for getting the scoop. At other times they get stories MR has unearthed. That's how it really works. Unless you're a UK national daily and report on the latest TV soap opera plotlines or staged reality show meltdowns instead. 1
Gladys
Where is "Scoop", (if anyone remembers him from the 80s)?

You have to spend 85p on toilet paper for the scoop and afterwards you can use it to have another major scoop.
WKRP
Interesting response from the official voice of Manx Radio, yes they let him reply here even though their MR contracts say they are not allowed to go on social media,. Seems Mr Peters/Manx Radio management says it’s ok to steal stories without any credit to that other organisation!

You've sucked them all dry.

The Washington Post, CNN, NBC show the source of stories when it's another paper such as the NY Times. Example: Donald Trump & Tax.

hissingsid
For goodness sake, all the news we get is yesterday's no matter where we get it from you may as well accuse the media from pinching stories from Facebook, generally a good source of local skeet, Buster will be having a flounce next saying his secret information service is being tapped. It is a no news story anyway what the public really want to know is what is going to happen to it.

What we need is an "Eddie Shoestring" ( if anyone remembers him ) at manx radio, investigative journalists to uncover the truth, and what presenter at manx radio would fit the roll, ( or would that effect thier subvention from government ?
