TheTeapot
Someone told me that there are two people there on more than £100000 pa. I was pretty dubious, but they were adamant. Is it true?
WKRP
Just one person I believe, but it said to be a an eye watering salary of £999,999 maybe even with 99p! Just enough be under the next threshold for reporting. IoM newspapers have a story in this. Anyone know what the going rate is to be in charge of a small UK radio station? Think they possibly also do on-air stints

According to the Accounts: Quote Earnings between £50,000 to £74,999 2 Earnings between £75,000 to £99,999 1 Of course you might think even these salaries high for a business with an operational turnover of £ 1.13 million plus public subvention of £875,000. If they are at the top of those bands that means that one eighth of the whole income goes to pay those three people (not to mention other costs associated with them). If you include employer's NI, pension contributions etc, it's very possible that two or even three cost over £100,000.
TheTeapot
Thanks Roger. Yes, I do think those salaries high for a business which is handed the best part of a million quid from the public each year and still makes a loss.
P.K.
The salary bill of just three individuals probably swallows up 10% of the turnover???!!! That can't be right.

WKRP
Doesn’t really matter what you think to those taking that 10% of all the money, it was David North who set up that pay scale and gave the jobs to people who have no care in the station doing a great PSB job
