Think they might have named the local comics, that would just about make the item interesting I guess. Serious question, who are the local comics (please don't point to any of our MHK's)

The Mayo/Whiley combo was a clusterfuck...which is a pity, as each individually is a good broadcaster.
gettafa
Simon Mayo never had an original thought in his head. Ever. He was always way behind the curve, and he knew it, but his large audience were even further behind. Jo Whiley at least has some genuine love for music and plenty of charisma. If this was all one big ruse to be rid of Simon Mayo then well done BBC. And don't get me started on the ginger whinger Evans.
victorian dad
Juan Turner was the best DJ Manx Radio ever had, second only to Ben Hartley even Norris McWhirter would bow down to their musical knowledge.

GreyWolf
The rare time I can’t get to switch to 3fm in the afternoon from manx radio quickly, that’s seems to be the only topic on women today maybe Jo and Beth should join together for children’s hour?

She is a bit hyper mumsie and all that taxi driver crap. I should have shut up after having a go at the somewhat moronic mayo.

She "discovered" Coldplay thanks to the vast marketing budget of EMI in the pre iTunes days and has been banging on about it ever since. Watching or listening to her on the subject its as if she hates music and has been nursing a vendetta against it for 20 plus years.

Augustus
Not a word on Manx Radio News website regarding today's Brexit proceedings in Tynwald. Our public service broadcaster.
