gettafa
Yep, it's all shite. Maybe this guy should have been given some credit for at least not putting the drugs up his swetty jacksie (I believe the term used by the lags and that is 'prison pocket'). I'm beginning to side with the deemster who made a blanket proclamation that all people involved with drugs are "dangerous and evil". Marc Tyley going to the 'housewives choice' slot. I was very pleased that Marc Tyley managed to obtain gainful employment immediately on his “retirement” from Manx Radio, a while back His new slot will give him ample opportunity to polish his Smashie (or is it Nicey?) impersonation.

In the 'real world' (most commercial radio stations), if you can't do the job, or the rating keep going down, then you would be shown the door. But lets see what happens next month...and to be clear from the commercial on the hour every hour it is happening in October 2019! The 'external agency' you talk about is an industry expert who has been brought over to provide presenter training, nothing to do with scheduling. I have benefited from this training. He said I was perfect, modest but much too nice to people. 1

He needs to be rationed on how many times he can use the word 'segue' (segway). He might want 3 or 4 per show, I suggest once a year. The word emerged a year or two back and even Radio One disc jockeys have stopped using it. Other than that MT's shows are listenable (when I'm doing the washing up, and hoovering the stairs etc) Edited September 21, 2019 by gettafa

The Dog's Dangly Bits
Manx Radio would be a better business if it binned out one particular person who seems to still hang around like a bad smell. He can only have survived this long because he has something on others at the station?a A number of people have left because his sales management is from 1970. Is that why the modern aspect of the sales delivery has to be done by an external UK team? (the S2 Blue company based in Manchester).https://ibb.co/fxzfpLJ They fly over and do client sessions with local businesses, they call it the ‘Amplify’ sales programme. S2Blue is the company that make a lot of the adverts and also the “nation’s station” jingles. https://ibb.co/2dWW7XZ Edited September 22, 2019 by Gagster
