Give the savings to the kids ward at the hospital or whatever. Is that your silliest post ever ?

I could just about hear Andy Wint purring away as Howad delivered it. Then Andy said how a woman had stopped him in the biscuit aisle of Shoprite and asked him to ask Mr Quayle how he was doing after his illness. (Mr Wint has various correspondents that crop up like this). It were a right sea of sycophancy on the Manx Radio Mannin Line today .

He was ok at the start and he answered some of the questions well in fairness. I think he made a massive mistake at the end suggesting that there will certainly be border controls until a vaccine has been found as that could be “never” let alone the implied November 2021 at earliest. If there isn’t a workable border solution by the end of July things are really going to start to tank even worse than they are at the moment. Border controls don't necessarily mean closed borders though.

His answer was more comprehensive than what you imply.

He's a politician. So if you want the borders closed, he didn't say they would open. If you want them open, he left hope that they would. Clever, see?

piebaps
Ewww TMI. Perhaps I should clarify in a "did you see the game last night" way. The place has been nuts. We've had a overt homophobic attack on JW, all kinds of newbies, most of which were like TJ on acid. Its nice to get someone back who makes reasonable observations and arguments..............well mostly
