Stavros Posted April 13, 2006 Share Posted April 13, 2006 My take on this would be that if everyone had been abducted at midnight then there wouldn't be anyone here to tie the boat up when it got in at 2am. They'd probably take it back to Heysham and raise the alarm on the way. By six o'clock in the morning, there would be RAF jets scrambled from RAF Stafford but they closed that recently so they would have to be scrambled from somewhere else like RAF Lyneham. They'd do a flyby and notice that there were still cars parked outside peoples houses and that the place was generally quiet and nothing out of the ordinary. They would fly back to base and go back to standby status. The alarm would only be raised on Sunday evening when someone's aunty Hilda that lives in Chipping Sodbury had tried to call her relatives and didn't get any reply. Then the UK Government would feel that it was safe to move all the illegal immigrants over to the island and use it as a holding centre.
