manxchatterbox
Anyone got any news on the MMRC Bray Hill event earlier tonight?? Went along to watch...from inside the railings at St Ninians just below the bus shelter.....should have taken the camera for when the blue Dodge Viper came up...the driver lost it....it went along the pavement smacking the garden walls opposite..losts of straw and dust in the air...did for a moment think it might have gone over and rolled but the driver managed to keep control and kept it going...but I think the residents in the gardens probably had to go in for a change of underwear!!!! The old (pre-1920's?) car with the open engine got a big round of applause as it came past...the new Porsche didn't seem to be going that quick...compared to some of the Subarus and the Caterhams..as for the Suzuki Swift... anyone catch any photos of the event?? Nitro
No, I didn't see it sounds good though. I saw a couple of cars passing through Ramsey earlier though. Like the look of the lovely sounding Caterham.
Albert Tatlock
Damn speed merchants. A case for a 10mph national speed limit if ever there was one.

ModelT
It is a 1916 Tuckett Model T Ford with the original engine and chassis. The period OHV conversion doubles it's horsepower to a heady 40BHP and it is quite interesting to drive. Thank you dooahhdoo as you obviously were smart enough to spot which way we were going and that it is a two man operation to get me ready for action. The organisers gave the "manual choke and top end oiling system" a lift back up the hill in their course car and, despite the fact they were really busy, were bending over backwards to help us run. Seatbelts - what are those new fangled things?
