Chinahand Posted May 26, 2006 Share Posted May 26, 2006 I'm afraid I just can't get excited by the Da Vinci Code, but for conspiracy theorists ... boy ... the son of Christ and all that ... its a bit of a biggie! Either the Catholic Church are a conspiacy, or the Church of Sion ... they can't loose! I love this report from the BBC. Sister Mary Michael, 61, says all she has been doing with her Da Vinci Code protests is standing up for the truth. Its like children arguing whether Father Christmas wears Red or Green. I understand its a reasonably OK detective/thriller type book and the film has had some mixed reviews (the Telegraph didn't rate it at all). Ever since reading the Chariots of the Gods and the book on the Turin Shroud which each posed more questions than they answered, I've left the digging over of religious propositions in search of the truth to those who can deal in hypotheticals until they hypothesise themselves up their own backsides!
