mollag
It seems that the IOM is not the only country to suffer from unwanted immigration. Here is a link to hear what that nice Mr Bush has to say on the matter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8Q1N5BM3jk...rch=immigration

Albert Tatlock
That's really funny I see the Mersey Ferry terminal sank - I wonder if that was the Manx version of the French secret service (who allegedly sank the Rainbow Warrior) - MIQ5 perhaps. Frances
the Ferry has a new landing stage downstream of the Racket's - their previous upstream one is still visible on the bed

Nothing alleged about it, they admitted it years ago.
Tempus Fugit
get ready for more boat people !, the 'Seacat Diamant', the one with the big union jack on the side, sister of the Rapide which was here a few years ago for the season, has just come out from a few days in docks and is now on the princes stage after the ssc2 has vacated. Looking at the schedule it seems it will be doing Heysham (starting tuesday ?) and maybe Belfast / Larne routes but not very clear from the timetable. hugh janus
the Ferry has a new landing stage downstream of the Racket's - their previous upstream one is still visible on the bed If you can see it past the - Shopping trolleys Traffic cones Bicycle wheels Bikes Plastic chairs Beer bottles Food wrappers Oil spills Vauxhall Novas UXBs and dead fish. Nice to see a City of Culture looking after its herritage and leaving even more junk in the river to clog it up.

Tempus Fugit
did you notice that P&O Express fastcat snuck in from Larne about 02.30 this morning ?
Ean
I was on the Diamant last night, it's actually a nice boat. It's very open plan, nothing is sectioned off. It was only an hour and 3 quarters late as well.
teapot
Is this craft going to be used on the IOM route perminently, if so, I assume they'll be painting out the UJ and repainting the Manx flag!
Lonan3
As any vexillologist will tell you, that is a Union Flag - not a union jack. (Someone has to keep an eye on these things until mr pedantic returns to the forum)
Liberalis
I think its just borrowed for TT, but it would be cool to see it plastered in the Manx flag. Apologies for the quality of these, I took them with my phone.
AlexMcC
She's probably off to Spain after her charter ends in a few weeks. Her or Rapide probably wouldn have been nicer vessels to have had instead of SSC2 in the end.....
