When Skies Are Grey Posted June 15, 2006 Share Posted June 15, 2006 Whilst I might be slighty biased I think the who saga surrounding Rooney has been an absolute farce....there are 21 other players in that squad and to rely on one man is just ridiculous. You only have to look at the last Euro champtionships when everyone just gave the ball to Rooney and wait to see what happens...then when he got injured we had no clue. [gritted teeth] Whilst a fit Rooney is undoubtedly an asset to the team [/gritted teeth] to see him as our only hope is delusional at best.
