Louis_C
theres already alot of decent DJs/nights/ideas over here, but no where to hold our nights...
ray marshall
theres already alot of decent DJs/nights/ideas over here, but no where to hold our nights... it would seem that going out at night is becoming a problem.....venues appear to either only want top names thus blocking the smaller guys from showing folk what they can do.....or theyre changed from clubs to flats..... go figure...... Louis_C
i cant imagine guernsey clubs wanting just top name djs? and that isnt the case over here either... ive done a bit of promoting over here and run my own night, and the problem we have over here is that there isnt actually the venues avaliable... and the ones that are arent really the best suited... either that or things are made very difficult to try and do something as successfully as possible

Louis_C
yeah i play minimal techno, nothing too fast and meaty; but, in the style of the stuff on Crosstown Rebels label, and John Dahlback/Liebing/Umek/Hawtin/ also quite into my Dubstep, and don't mind a bit of 4x4 and D&B. I run a night over here called Infusion... next one is on the Saturday 24th June...

Talking of mflive...tune in to www.mflive.com every Thursday night from 8pm for the Beatfix Show where you can hear plenty of slammin' beats namely breakbeat, electro, DnB, tech house, an old skool feature and much more besides Louis can vouch for the largeness of the show, he's one of our listeners and Mobeats and I will be DJing at the Infusion event next weekend!!
