puddy
I would say that I'm Manx, not only because I was born here and have roots on both parents sides, but also because I'm related to about half the north of the Island, I'm probably inbred (we have evidence of recurring relationships between our family and another family over history but no known children) and because like some of my Manx friends, I've got a p*sshead uncle who's constantly in and out of prison. That's what really makes me Manx, my family are in the Courier every week. Yeah.

Speckled Frost
You need to make the distinction between national pride and jingoism. One strives to promote and celebrate a country and its heritage while the other strives to breed hate and mistrust of other countries.
