nipper Posted June 23, 2006 Share Posted June 23, 2006 Tynwald will be voting amongst themselves for President of Tynwald in July. Nominations can be for Members of the House of Keys, elected MLCs or the current President. Manx Radio ietm (in fact Noel Cringle has ben president since April 2000 when he took over from Sir Charles Kerruish not 2001 as stated in the news item) It seems Noel Cringle will take the position again but there is an opportunity to parachute an MHK to safety for the next five years to save them facing the electorate in November (perhaps as has happened with MLCs over recent years).
