My apologies to any purists out there. Anyway - for anybody thats interested, the Isle of Man is letting the global Poker phenomenon pass us by. Its ironic that the top internet poker gaming site is based here, and the first ever poker million was held in the casino only 5 yrears ago. However, due to gaming legislation on the Island, nobody is allowed to set up a live poker room where people can go and play. The most obvious option therefore is for the casino to set up and run games.... I've started an online petition - check out the link if you get a moment, or otherwise let me know your thoughts.... Tearz Posted July 3, 2006 Share Posted July 3, 2006 I thought a card room was being set up at the Casino shortly, where the restaraunt section is. Actually last time I was in there I believe a member of staff said the chap who was "in charge" of getting the card room goign had left - so not too sure where that leaves the plans.
