Busby
Well - its arrive and I'm pleased to report it works in my Sony/Ericson K750i and my older Nokia 7200. The only down side I have found so far is the person you are calling doesn't know your ID and adding extra credit is a chore. On the plus side, I get itemised billing to keep track of my costs.. OH! and I nearly forgot - no roaming charges!

immortalpuppet
Hmmm do they have an operators licence on the island, otherwise using it on the island could be breaking terms and conditions. Ignore me i am being stupid and my fat fingers are playing up
joeyconcrete
Thats the thing... Whose terms and conditions? 0044.co.uk, CallKey, Manx-Telecom? Who actually owns the card? etc etc.
immortalpuppet
I imagine its in the agreements between MT and Callkey, if Callkey are operating without a lisence on the Island then there could be a big problem for them because its breaking the law isnt it? Deejay Denzel
IT's a callblue GSM card with an international roaming agreement. Surely if it wasn't allowed MT wouldn't let it work on the network. Also the number of these sims are +447624 119***

Who knows. Technically it's Manx-Telecom's card and they have a license. But CallBlue? are selling them, who probably don't have a license and I don't see how MT make much cash, in which case, I really don't know! There must be some kind of arrangement you would think. Busby
Well, its worth having it for the 119xxx curiosity thing anyway.. Just can't make my mind up whether to to ditch my +447624478xxx number and just keep the +44762411119xxx number. Maybe this will prompt MT to give us a better deal - err, GOSH! was that a pig that just flew by..
