Ripsaw
I wondered what the problem was when I was reading bringing in an external consultant to solve noise problems at the White Hoe sewage treatment plant won’t cost extra money. as my first thought was that it is the responsibility of the Contractor to complete the work to a satisfactory level within the preagreed cost of the work. Then the article goes on to say Speaking yesterday, Mr Braidwood said having a consultant working with the DoT’s experts was already part of the budget for the work. D'ohhhhhh. How come they can predict the need to budget for a consultant to clear the cock ups, but can not avoid the cock ups in the first place?
