Billy One Mate Posted September 12, 2004 Share Posted September 12, 2004 Have a mate who has done this in Portugal. Thought he had made a fortune until he got hit with tax over there. Suggest you check out the tax laws in the area you are thinking of buying. I own some land in Spain and just got a tax bill from my lawyer over there.
