wonder what they were doing there ?

 

The photos would have been taken 1965 - ish I reckon. What do you reckon ?

 

Lets see if somebody will name the whole bunch /

 

Any idea where it was taken & the function ?

 

 

In the top photo there is Nick Brown and Brian Cannell, and in the bottom one I recognise ? Corkill, 2nd on the right from Danny Shimmin. His father was a teacher at Douglas High School. I know more faces but forget the names. I'll email this link to Nick Brown who will fill in the date and venue.

Well, speaking of the "59 Club " ..... here's a shot of The Clubs' van, my RE5 GT, George (came over from Wallesey .. is that spelt right, each year ?) and cannot remember who had the black Truimph 2327 MN

 

I think I took this photo in '65 or maybe '66.

I wonder if we can stir up any more action on this subject. Any more information come to light, any pics of the Connister Club days or should that be daze ?

 

A couple of Manx/Canadian sidecar racers have surfaced recently ..... Welcome back to the Dailey Bros !
