[BBC News]Service to honour Summerland dead

From the manx Radio report:

Fifty people lost their lives in a fire at the original Summerland building in 1973, and this service may be the last opportunity to remember the vicitims at the scene of the disaster.

Does anyone really believe that this will be the last chance? Does this mean that they have some idea of what they're actually going to do wuth the site? Would it be cynical to suggest that the place is likely to look exactly the same this time next year?

Should let sleeping dogs lie. As the saying goes.

Mcb, im related to someone who lost a dear friend and she cant even bear to hear the words 'summerland fire' without her still collapsing in floods of tears, so bad idea imo. Wonder who had this brainwave for a memorial in the first place?
