Theskeat
The Celtic match races are to be held on the Island this week and its looks like some of the teams wont attend the two day meeting due to the High costs quoted by the IOMSP to travel to the Island, The Irish team who are aways good supporters to the Islands sport have confirmed that they will not attend. TomTucker
the irish team in years gone by have been very well organised, especially by Davy Wood who has since passed away. in other years the boys have had travel and some diesel money to attend the races either here scotland or wales. could be that the team hasnt had this level of support this year so the riders havnt been able to dig deep enough. doesnt help that Irish ferrys and P&O to scotland will be 1/2 the price of steam racket. especially if you bring a big van and have to do 2 trips.
