manxchatterbox Posted September 16, 2006 Author Share Posted September 16, 2006 ..then again there aren't enough beds to justify the administration of a bed tax over here..or are there?? ...seeing as Treasury is desperate for money and like to tax by stealth..just when your asleep and think its safe along comes the Treasury Minister Allan Bell... makes you wonder whose in bed with whom..Treasury and Dep of Tourism (who need Treasury's finance...) does David Cretney know but doesn't want to have to stand and take the flack from the hoteliers and self catering proprietors...the real reason he's standing down?? manxchatterbox Posted September 16, 2006 Author Share Posted September 16, 2006 apparently last night AB was out in Ramsey checking on the price of beer and whether it costs too much already or could go up...then a bloke who thinks he's the Rhinestone Cowboy came in the pub (Traf)..it was almost like a gathering of The Village People....not sure if that's the place to be seen or not...
