Skig
Does IOMSPCo still own Sea Cat Express 1?? Yes they do.She was up for sale but there were no takers, and as SSC2 has proved to be a total disaster they have had to spend a lot of money on SE1 to bring her up to class. SSC2 is on bare board charter for another 4 years and IOMSPco have to hand her back to Sea containers at the end of that period in the same condition as she was in at the start of the charter.Seems to me it has been one hell of an expensive episode. localyokel
Instead of pi**ing around with a floating hotel for TT Week they could use their money to buy a fast craft that bloody well works. I am sick and tired of late sailings, sailings that take an hour longer than they need to and all the other crap involved in getting on and off this Island. How difficult is it to run boats that work? Its an embarrassment.
