Have a trawl around the net for specs and details, but basically this unit can be connected to a standard sky dish to pick up freeview channels. Because the box is a HD receiver this includes BBC HD, and any future HD channels. I believe you can buy cards etc to alow viewing of other channels, check out www.avforums.com for details. I bought this while waiting for a SKY HD box which wasn't delivered in time for the world cup. I simply connected to the existing SKY dish feeds and so had access to al the BBC HD matches.
