arronc
The owner of the utilities companies can charge whatever inflated price they choose, regardless of the value on the cards. The chance cards will include "there's a boat in the morning"
Alias
Hasn't there been one of these before? Sure I played it (and won) Edit: called mannopoly or something stupid
localyokel
Hasn't there been one of these before? Sure I played it (and won) There was - it was called "Holiday Isle of Man Monopoly" and I think it was sponsored by Manx Airlines (or possibly DTL as it was such a sheight idea). I still have a copy somewhere. I don't think that any game made had a full set of cards. Manx monopoly would be a good idea - but as we are so full of monopolies where would you start? Some good cards: "Unauthorised loan of £300m - take a chance" "You have won a useless incinerator - pay banker £50m" "Its TT Week - add £50 to the next 5 purchases you make" .... and once you've got four houses, and a hotel you can apply for a grant to go for holiday cottages.
