The TV works fine when you can get it to switch on, we think it may be something to do with the power switch as it does turn on but remains on standby. When it turns on everything works fine, it tunes into channels and both speakers work fine. We think the tv is about 4 or 5 years old but we are not sure because it was bought second hand Comes with remote control. PM or Email if you are interested or would like more info. Hitachi TVs have a common fault where the soldered joints that hold the voltage regulator to the main PCB crack over time.
