hoggersdrum
Hi All my name is Shaun i am a member of Manx Caledonian Pipe Band , we are all former members of Ellan Vannin Pipe Band & have been playing for some time . However we are on the look out for anyone interested in learning the bagpipes , we have an excellent PM who will teach anyone who fancies a crack at them . Our band has played in competition in Scotland & Ireland & travelled on a jolly to Switzerland . We have a good social & have plenty of fun when out , however we do take our playing seriously & will teach how to play the pipes correctly . They are a very rewarding instrument & sound sweet when played properly , obviously musical knowledge or background is a help but not a necessity . Interested phone me on 427771 or email hoggers@manx.net . Thanks Shaun
Albert Tatlock
Q. What's the difference between a bagpipe and an onion? A. No one cries when you chop up an bagpipe. Good luck Shaun, it's important to keep up these traditions. I'd like to take it up - but my heart wouldn't be in it - and I would be doing it just to annoy my neighbours
