Albert Tatlock
The Union Mills hill... must be over 30 up there!!! I wont be swayed because of a sign....LOL According to the DoT letter to candidates - posters are required to be removed if they are a distraction to drivers. I spose this is cos they are likely to cause drowsiness?

Lonan3
vandal n 1: someone who willfully destroys or defaces property The `apparent' disgruntled voter or competing votee isnt a vandal at all... Could it be construed as theft? being the banners are on the DOT property? Then a disgruntled vandal, perhaps?
thebees
I think they should all be asked to remove them, they do put you off when you are driving and I'm quite sure no one is going to be swayed into voting for someone because they had a poster at the road side, I know who I will be voting for and I havent seen any billboards for him. Next thing they'll have cars with loud speakers and music on encouraging people to vote for them.
Tuna Sandwich
I think they should be charged with littering! As for removing them being a criminal offence, it is more like a public service.
