I don't know much about these things, but it looks as if it's not going to be quite so easy to attract new productions to the island? Times report on budget speech: Mr Brown confirmed a new set of tax breaks, outlined in his March budget for production companies making films in Britain, will come into effect at the start of 2007. Max Power Posted December 7, 2006 Share Posted December 7, 2006 I suspect that this is a little like most of our economy and the recent 'miracle solutions', built on a foundation of sand. I suppose it's easy to be a 'knocker' and say 'told you so'. because our Government do their best with the resources at their fingertips. Maybe it's time to be bolder and improve those resources?
