Albert Tatlock
I'm always for more technology in Tynwald I bet these guys would be appropriate for installation and testing of the system.
Another comeover
Brilliant! thankgoodness they are doing electronic voting - might put a stop to members voting based on how the vote will turn out. i.e Karran voting against a motion when he knows it will go through just for the sake that he can always churp up and say he is the opposition. ThieBane
They didn't use it for the Chief Minister's 'secret' ballot. Cause it was a secret and all.

BigDave
I heard on the news last night that they used it for the first time yesterday... to vote on whether or not it was time for lunch. No, I'm not joking.
ThieBane
To be fair to the members, I think they did it deliberately - there was quite a lot of laughter in the chamber when the division was called, and it was pretty clear that they wanted to try out their new toy. Interesting the CM-elect Mr Brown was fairly strongly opposed to e-voting.

No, I'm not joking. Knowing that lot - they probably hit the 'launch' button and declared war on France or something.
