I was shocked to see this headline.

 

John Houghton MHK immediately stood up to reply to this question but President of Tynwald Noel Cringle ignored him. Mr Houghton persisted until he had to call for a point of order. "Yes" said The President curtly.

 

But mr Houghton was not allowed to make any reply in the House because the Attornery General had made a "Personal Statement".

 

Could some of the more knowledgeable people on this forum enlighten me on this matter because personally I think it smells rather off.

 

Mind you, it was you lot that elected the Attorney General. You gets what you gets type thing.
