Lonan3
Eight metal sheep hurdles have been stolen from a field in Bride on the Isle of Man. The pieces of interlocking fence panel are silver, about 5ft (1.5m) long and 3ft (0.9m) high. Long hurdle races (400 m) use intermediate hurdles, which are 36 inches (.914 m) high for men. The standard long hurdle race is 400 metres for both men and women. Each of these races is run over ten hurdles. That means two more required to practice for the next Island Games. Lonan3
It's no laughing matter. I can't get to sleep. I was counting sheep jumping over a fence and some bastard stole the fence!
Silentbob
It could be me, it could be ewe. I expect the police have experts in the field. They certainly flocked to the scene. They have asked the public to report anyone looking a bit sheepish. But they are hedging their bets that this is not a ram raid, but rather than an attempt to fleece the owner out of a ransom. anyway, I have bleated on enough. EDIT - Doh, forgot to mention that police believe that someone might try to fence these locally (or try to flog them on Ebaaah.com)
Ean
I'm surprised there've been no ewe-phemism's yet.
