MilitantDogOwner
Watched Splice this weekend. Its been a long time since I have watched a film and wish I had never bothered. Far too long to get going, the main characters make every decision against what any normal person in the real world would do just for the sake of progressing the plot (you know..."that" sex scene) and the ending is just dripping in the current trend of "sequalitis". Utterly terrible film. And Shutter Island, well what can I say. Having never read the book I was suprised at how easy it was to predict the out come of the film. Not much of thriller if the thrill is there to see pretty much from the get go.

- Paul -
The Day The Earth Stood Still. The 2008 remake with Keanu. The original being one of the old classic sci fi films. Not bad at all for an updated version.
Bobbie Bobster
Scott Pilgrim. It was, like, awesome 'n stuff. Actually, it was very good. Well written, several laugh out loud moments, good acting and a great visual style. Even included a bit of Seinfeld. No exploding helicopters, though. theycallmesteve
Book of Eli A post-apocalyptic world where KFC wet-wipes are currency and you really should turn down the sandwiches. Good movie, great twist at the end.

Katman
Watched Shutter Island last night, quite enjoyed it. The continuity seemed off at times, I don't know if that was intentional or not.

We Like The Moon
I watched the men who stare at goats the other night, great cast, a bit odd, but mildly amusing in a bizarre sort of way
Alias
Agree with theycallmesteve, great film, great twist at the end. I thought the twist was a bit pants, it made the whole film untenable and stupid.
