Amadeus
Iron Man 3. Loads of boom and bang and whatnot. Not too bad, especially in Imax 3D, but a bit lost on me in places as I didn't watch the first two and was just dragged along for this one. Bombay Bad Boy
Just seen Iron Man 3. I found it quite entertaining, but I've already seen the earlier films in the Marvel Cinematic Marketing Ploy. Watch the first 2, and Avengers Assemble*, and IM3 makes more sense. *Disappointing lack of MASM, or Devpac, but not bad nontheless.
samworthff
Iron Sky - wonderful black comedy about the Nazis retreating to the dark side of the moon. Bit dark from point of view that all of the leaders are rotten, except Finland's so guess where the film was made?
Bobbie Bobster
Life of Pi. Hope I'm not damning it with faint praise, but I thought it was charming and engaging.
Endovelicus
Finally got round to watching Dredd in 3D. Good film, although I expected Dredd to be alot harsher than he was, considering this version is that much closer to the 2000AD comic version. http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2013/jan/25/judge-dredd-gay-writers-hint He is the futuristic policeman whose personal desires have always come second to his love for the law. But the writers of Judge Dredd have caused a stir among fans by appearing to suggest he will come out as gay. The latest edition of the comic 2000 AD is titled Closet and deals with the issue of a teenager coming out. The first page appears to show the legendary lawman in a passionate clinch with another man in a gay club, with the caption: "I guess, somehow, I'd always known I was gay. I was just too scared to admit it." Now that should be an interesting movie! Any bets that the first gay Transformer will turn into a Prius?
MilitantDogOwner
Silent Hill: Revelations. Utter pap, although the first one wasn't much better. Just another crap video game to movie (although I can't think of any good game to movie conversions).
MilitantDogOwner
Any bets that the first gay Transformer will turn into a Prius? Well we've had the "oh so subtle" racial stereotype cars in the second film.....and token "fembot" transformers in the 3rd instalment. Katman
Thought the new Star Trek was very good, better than the first one, in this new series. But I do wish they would stop using the brewery to dipict the engine room of the Enterprise, It just doesn't look right and is far to large. http://brookstonbeerbulletin.com/star-treks-engineering-deck-brewery/
Katman
Watched the impossible last night. Very good movie, quite graphic in places. If you watch this trailer, you don't need to watch the film, as it tells the whole story. Edited May 24, 2013 by Katman
Trueblood
Went to see Mud last week while away. I can highly recommend it, superb acting (Matthew McConnaughy is a revelation as Mud) especially the two boys in it.

thebees
I watched Four Lions again not last night but, the night before, I love it.
Overdose
Watched Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter last night. Didn't really hold out much hope with it being any good (the title alone gives the impression that it's going to be pap) and was gladly surprised to see I was correct, total pap. Not worth the time, effort or, in our case, the HDD space on the Sky box.
