Gladys
Yes I have that on my 'to see' list. DiCaprio is in some great films, yet he's kind of anonymous in that he doesn't seem to have a persona outside of the films he makes. Perhaps that will be his guarantee of a long career. Ron Burgandy
Rush - Bloody ace
krafty
Lone Soldier - again another good film in 2014 There is a documentary, which runs along side this film called "Murph the protector" which i'll also check out
Gladys
Captain Phillips - just great. Tom Hanks lives up to the blurb on the case. Highly recommended.

Virtual_Boy
Enders Game - Daughter chose it, wasn't expecting much but enjoyed it.
Amadeus
The Book Thief. Beautiful movie. You will cry, and probably a lot.
Nim Chimpsky
The last film I watched was Life of Pi. There was some reasonable dialogue and views of nature but it was a bit ridiculous.
Bobbie Bobster
+1 for Captain Phillips. Tom Hanks is great, and he gets better as the movie progresses. It would have been so easy for Barkhad Abdi to have been acted off the screen, but he delivers a performance to equal Mr Hanks.
Donald Trumps
Apparently the Director didn't allow them to meet until they were actually filming on set
jacko
Watched `Rush` last night, really enjoyed it, the attention to detail is pretty good, especially seeing the 6 wheeled tyrell.
Gladys
Behind the Candelabra. Michael Douglas played Liberace so believably (if Liberace could ever be considered a believable character). Fascinating story. I'm coming to the conclusion that these larger than life figures are just that because they truly do march to a different drum. The plastic surgeon was a delight. Definitely worth a watch.
Bobbie Bobster
Gone Girl. Well written, maintains the tension all the way through and great performances from the 2 leads.
2bees
We watched Pain and Gain last night, funniest film I have seen for ages. It's mental, a true story (with artistic licence) about the most ridiculous people in the world ever. The best char was the wannabe actress, lots of 'lol' moments to be had. Bobbie Bobster
Guardians of the Galaxy. Bit disappointing, not up to the hype. And the supposedly great post-end credits sequence is not worth the time wasted waiting for it. Gone Girl. Super movie, great story, characters and performances. Only downside was Ben Affleck's disturbing physical resemblance to Adam Sandler. Edge of Tomorrow. Much better than Tom's recent outings. Even though it's been done many times before, a nice story and handled the "repeat" bit well.
